Les Deux Alpes is perched at an altitude of 1,650 m and offers access to over 220 km of slopes. The resort is nicknamed the “upside-down resort”: easy slopes are found at higher altitudes while the lower slopes are steeper. The main ski area, with a glacier reaching an altitude of 3,600 m, guarantees excellent snow conditions. The slopes are spread across two sectors (Glacier and VallĂ©e Blanche), with 75% of them located above 2,000 m. The resort boasts an internationally renowned snowpark, off-slope activities (ice skating, tobogganing, mountain biking, paragliding), and a lively nightlife.

Alpe d’Huez is nicknamed “the Island of the Sun” because of its exceptional sunshine. It is part of the Grand Domaine Ski area, which includes the resorts of Auris, Oz, Vaujany, Villard-Reculas, and Huez. The area boasts 249 km of interconnected slopes ranging from 1,450 m to 3,330 m in altitude. It features two snowparks, a boardercross course, and a halfpipe. The view from the Pic Blanc (3,330 m) offers a 360° panorama of the Écrins mountain range. In summer, Alpe d’Huez offers a wide variety of activities: mountain biking (a stage of the Tour de France), hiking, paragliding, and a flagship event: the 21 Bends cycling race.
